Course Description
Course Syllabus
This course was developed to promote business analytics for a diverse world, creating the foundations for relevant, less biased, ethical, and humane data. The course will cover the complete skill set required today for data analysts. It covers the roles and application of technology throughout the analytics supply chain and how data should be handled at each step, from collection to preparation, organization, analysis, and reporting. It teaches how management and mindsets must evolve to make the best use of analytics. Finally, it presents how lean processes can ensure repeatability, scalability, and sustainability of newly set reporting procedures. Each class will include 18 hours of lecture, office hours, and student contact time, and approximately 10 hours of homework.

We pair underrepresented students with corporations or nonprofits to work on a project and apply skills they learned in class.

AIAI is collaborating with the Berkeley Culture Initiative, EGAL and Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group to teach a building inclusive cultural leadership skills to promote DEI tech culture and instill responsible analytics for a more equitable digital solutions.
